Forgiveness Formula That Fuels Miracles

Forgiveness Formula That Fuels Miracles

You’re Praying for Breakthrough… But Holding Onto Offense

Let’s be honest.

You can be praying, believing, asking God to move… and still feel stuck.

Not because God isn’t able.

But because something is blocking the flow.

Jesus points straight at it.

“And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any” (Mark 11:25, KJV).

That’s not random advice.

That’s a condition tied to prayer.

So if you ignore forgiveness… you can quietly shut down what you’re asking God to release.

The Link Between Forgiveness and Power

This isn’t about being nice.

This is about alignment.

Jesus connects forgiveness directly to receiving from God.

“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you” (Matthew 6:14, KJV).

And then He flips it.

“But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses” (Matthew 6:15, KJV).

That’s serious.

Because unforgiveness doesn’t just affect your relationships.

It affects your connection with God.

Why Unforgiveness Blocks What You’re Asking For

Here’s what unforgiveness does.

It keeps something alive inside you that shouldn’t be there.

Bitterness.

Resentment.

Offense.

And that affects your heart.

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23, KJV).

If your heart is carrying offense, it changes how you pray.

It changes how you hear.

It changes how you respond.

You can’t hold onto bitterness and expect clear spiritual flow at the same time.

Forgiveness Isn’t About Them… It’s About You

This is where people get stuck.

They think forgiving means the other person gets away with it.

It doesn’t.

Forgiveness is not saying what they did was okay.

It’s releasing it so it no longer controls you.

“Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger… be put away from you” (Ephesians 4:31, KJV).

Put away.

That’s a choice.

You’re not excusing them.

You’re freeing yourself.

The “Formula” Jesus Gave

Let’s break it down simply.

  1. Recognize the offense
  2. Choose to release it
  3. Bring it to God in prayer
  4. Let it go daily if needed

That’s it.

Not complicated.

But not easy either.

Because sometimes the hurt is real.

Deep.

Ongoing.

That’s why this becomes a repeated decision.

Jesus Modeled This at the Cross

Think about this moment.

Jesus is on the cross.

In pain.

Mocked.

Rejected.

And what does He say?

“Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do” (Luke 23:34, KJV).

That’s not theory.

That’s practice under pressure.

If forgiveness only worked when it was easy… it wouldn’t work when it matters.

Faith and Forgiveness Are Connected

Right before Jesus talks about forgiveness in Mark 11, He talks about faith that moves mountains.

“Whosoever shall say unto this mountain… it shall be done” (Mark 11:23, KJV).

Then immediately after, He says forgive.

That’s not separate.

That’s connected.

You want mountain-moving faith?

Then deal with what’s in your heart.

Because faith doesn’t flow well through a heart that’s holding onto offense.

Pentecost: A Heart Cleared for Power

Look at the disciples before Pentecost.

They had disagreements. Pride. Competition.

But by the time the Spirit came, something had shifted.

“These all continued with one accord” (Acts 1:14, KJV).

One accord.

That means unity.

No unresolved offense blocking things.

Then what happened?

“And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:4, KJV).

Power followed unity.

And unity requires forgiveness.

What Happens When You Truly Forgive

Something lifts.

You may not feel it instantly.

But over time, the weight starts to go.

You stop replaying the situation.

You stop reacting the same way.

You regain clarity.

And your prayers shift.

They become lighter.

More confident.

More aligned.

What If They Never Change?

This is the question that comes up.

“What if they don’t apologize?”

“What if they keep doing it?”

Forgiveness is not dependent on their response.

It’s your decision.

You’re not waiting for them to fix it.

You’re choosing to release it before God.

“Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves… for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord” (Romans 12:19, KJV).

God handles justice.

You handle your heart.

A Simple Way to Start Today

If someone comes to mind right now…

Don’t push it away.

That’s usually where the issue is.

Say it plainly.

“God, I release them. I choose to forgive.”

Even if your emotions don’t catch up immediately.

Keep saying it.

Keep choosing it.

Until it becomes real.

Final Question

Are you asking God to move… while holding onto what He told you to release?

Because forgiveness isn’t just a command.

It’s a key.

And when you use it, things begin to open that you couldn’t force on your own.

That’s where the shift happens.

Call to Action: The Question That Demands an Answer

In Acts 2:37 Peter and the Apostles were asked the question – What Shall We do?

And in Acts 2:38 Peter answered, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Do you understand this? After hearing the gospel and believing, they asked what should would do. The answer hasn’t changed friend, Peter clearly gave the answer. The question for you today is, Have you receieved the Holy Spirit Since you believed?
