Destroying the negative thinking that so often holds you back from the successes you deserve in life doesn’t have to be difficult. Quite often we think we can never change or if we can it will take too much work, effort and commitment.

However you can start conquering the negativity starting today without much effort at all. In fact simple things that take less then 10 minutes a day can totally turn your thinking around.

Easy things like taking hold of an affirmation that means a lot to you before you leave home for work and then simply reminding yourself of that affirmation a few times throughout the day has an amazing way of helping you be more positive.

Totally Destroy Negative Thinking

If you drive to work or like going for walks try occasionally listening to my Christian affirmations and you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how much better they make you feel.

If you haven’t got hold of my Christian affirmations package yet then you should go to this site right now to get started today with positive affirmations.

There are many who want to be, there are many more who are going to one day, but sadly there are very few are doing right now. The Bible says it is not hearers of the word only but the doers of the word that receive the rewards and that pretty much applies to all aspects of life.

There are plenty of side-line experts but very few who get out there and actually do it. There are many of us who know what to do, who have studied various subjects until we know everything about it yet very few of us actually do.

There is true power in the doing. An affirmation card is a great idea but it is useless if it sits in the glove box of your car unread. I heard stories of people from all backgrounds in life using affirmations to meet challenges. I read of a traveling salesman full of nerves reading positive affirmations he had on cards before getting out of the car to go sell. By doing affirmations he was able to conquer his fears and make sales.

It can be as simple as reading one affirmation every morning to remind yourself that there is more out there then what there inside your own negative thinking. Doing affirmations can be like a tonic that improves your situation. James tells us to be doers of the word and not hearers only deceiving ourselves. It is easy to decieve ourselves but that can all turn around if we start doing.

If you look up the word doer in the Bible concordance it can mean: a maker, a producer, author, a doer, performer and a poet.

By doing affirmations you are the producer and the author of your outcomes. The meanings of doer are all action words, take action and you will see results. A doer means to be a maker, by doing you make it happen. Don’t just sit on the sidelines and read about how it works for everyone else but get in there yourself and be a performer.

By the very meanings above you can say be doing affirmations you make them work however the if you don’t do them then they are just empty words that will have no effect in your life. So in what crowd do you stand with today? Are you in the want to bes? Are you with the going tos? Or are you now a doer?

I love the concept of affirmations being like a passport. When you are traveling to another country you must have a passport to be allowed entry into that country. If you arrive at the destination and have no passport you are refused entry so you must have a passport to enter into that other place.

Sadly for most people the country they are living in is the country of negativity and sadness and while they may always dream about traveling one day to that lucky country called happiness they have no passport to get there.

Affirmations can be that passport with diligent practice. You just can not say one or two positive affirmations and then be instantly transported to a different dimension. There is work involved in getting a passport. You have to fill in all the paper work, get a photo taken and go to the appropriate office and get it approved and so on. You just don’t wish a passport into existence and so it is with affirmations.

Affirmations are a powerful tool just like the passport and can gain you entry into that happy place but you have to continue to chip away until you succeed. Introduce affirmations into your life in non-intrusive ways such as listening to affirmations while driving or walking.

Speak affirmations out loud a few times before leaving the house for the day and do the same at night before going to bed. When you catch yourself being negative counteract it with a positive affirmation. Keep training yourself to be happy. Happiness comes from happy thoughts so think on happy thoughts.

A passport can take you places. With a passport you can travel all over the world and see things you would never normally see. Affirmations can do the same, affirmations can take you places and help you see things in a totally different light. It is when seeing things in a different light that you start to see opportunity when it presents itself and reach greater heights then ever before.

You only get to the top of the ladder by starting to climb from the bottom rung. If you are at that bottom rung then today is the day to start climbing. It doesn’t take long to get to the top once you start but you must start. Start using those affirmations today, treat them as your passport and whip them out just like you were passing through customs to the land of happiness.

Welcome to Scriptural Thinking with Christian Affirmations.

All of my products are produced with the same easy to read and easy to listen formats. Below is an explanation of every option available.

Christian Affirmations Virtual Books

A Virtual Book is an electronic book. Unlike a physical book a Virtual Book is a digital product that can be downloaded to your computer.

All of my virtual books are delivered in PDF format so if you are familiar with PDF documents then a virtual book is almost identical.

So why would you order one of my virtual books instead of a paper back version?

Advantages of a Virtual Book…

1. Cheaper: With all of my paper back books there is an expensive fulfillment process involved to get the book published, produced, printed and so on. While the paper back versions are better in my opinion and make fantastic gifts because of the production costs they are much more expensive then the virtual books which have almost zero production costs.

2. No Shipping: Depending on where you live in the world shipping a physical book can sometimes cost more then the book itself whereas virtual books have no shipping costs whatsoever.

3. Instant Download: Another benefit of virtual books is that you get them almost immediately after you pay as opposed to a physical book that can take weeks to arrive.

4. Can Be Printed: All of my virtual books are downloadable to your own computer. You can read them on the computer or print them out on your own printer. Another advantage of a virtual book is that you can just print selected pages if you prefer and not the entire book.

My virtual books will work on all computers the only requirement is that you have the free adobe reader installed on your computer. Almost all new computers have it already installed, if not you can get it free at adobe.com

Christian Affirmations MP’s

An MP3 is a digital product that can be downloaded to your computer.

So why would you order one of my MP3 packages instead of a CD version?

Advantages of MP3′s…

1. Cheaper: With all of my CD’s there is an expensive fulfillment process involved to get the affirmation CD’s published. While the CD versions are better in my opinion and make fantastic gifts because of the production costs they are much more expensive then the MP3′s which have virtually zero production costs.

2. No Shipping: Depending on where you live in the world shipping a CD can sometimes cost more then the CD itself whereas the MP3′s have no shipping costs whatsoever.

3. Instant Download: Another benefit of the affirmation MP3′s is that you get them almost immediately after you pay as opposed to a CD that can take weeks to arrive.

4. Can Be Imported into You IPod or Other MP3 Player: All of my MP3′s are downloadable to your own computer. You can listen to them on the computer or import them into your favorite MP3 player. Another advantage of MP3 version is that you can then rearrange them into your favorites.

Get The Entire Digital Affirmations Package

If you prefer the mp3 and virtual book package then click on the link above to get it for just $49.95

About my paper back books…

1. Great Format: All my books come in the same easy to read format with on the left page an introduction to the affirmations with scriptural references and on the right page a list of the affirmations.

2. Affirmations: Amazing Christian affirmations that are guaranteed to do 2 things. Firstly you will be amazed at just how much the Lord has done for you and stand in awe of God’s great love for you. Secondly you will be astounded at exactly who the Bible says you are.

3. Bible Study: Each affirmation set make for a great spring board for further Bible study and are great conversation generators.

Affirmations are just lovely little sentences or nice statements unless we actually sow them into subconsciousness. We just can’t read them or say them once or twice and expect everything to be rosy from that day forward. The true success from using affirmations is actually in what I just said… using!

We have to use affirmations in such a way that they permanently permeate into our sub-conscious mind. This can only be done by repeating the affirmations to ourselves and dwelling upon the positive statements every day.

Affirmation simply means to affirm something to be true and there are many ways we use affirmations as a Christian sometimes without even knowing we are doing it. For example: Every time we pray either by ourselves or in a Church meeting situation we end the prayer request with Amen. This is a way of affirming what was just asked of the Lord to be true because Amen simply means – so be it. Think about that next time you say Amen to something you actually saying so be it and therefore affirming or agreeing that what was just asked will come to pass.

Another way Christian use affirmations is by singing choruses. It is amazing how many wonderful affirmations are contained in the choruses. So next time you sing a chorus just don’t let your mind wonder off actually take hold of what is being said. Every chorus and hymn contains positive affirmations that we actually sing into our subconscious mind to build up our faith and trust in God.

Reading the Bible is another way we sow positive affirmations into our subconscious minds. The Bible is constantly reminding us that we can, and that we are well able and God has an extreme love for us. While in the world we might face negativity and doubt, the word of God encourages us to be renewed and to be faithful and positive.

Praying is another way we can sow positive Christian affirmations into our life. Jesus encouraged us to ask in his name. Come before God in prayer and let your requests be known unto him and if we believe we shall have whatsoever we require of him. That is an amazing promise so why not use the formula God has provided us with?

Meditation is another way to sow affirmations into our subconscious minds. To most people meditation conjures up images of someone sitting with the legs crossed and chanting but that’s not what I am referring to here. To meditate on something simply means to dwell on it. Therefore, think about it constantly. I go for long walks for exercise and love meditating on positive statements and scriptures from the Bible. I also mix it up with listening to mp3 affirmations I have on my Ipod which I also find very uplifting.

In summary we will reap what we sow. If we do want good things in our life we just can’t sit back and wish it to be so, instead we need to actually train our brains to be spiritual. As you can see from the few suggestions mentioned above, that nothing has to be complicated.

The world is full of people who know what to do but still don’t do it. There is a huge difference between knowing and doing! For example most of us can rattle off how many calories we should be consuming, have knowledge of carbs, protein, amino acids, sugars, fat and a myriad of other food substances and additives. We all know how to exercise and why it is so important, yet despite all this knowledge the world is full of people who wish they could lose weight.

The difference is in the doing!

And so it is with positive thinking. Knowledge isn’t enough and wishing it were so isn’t enough. Reading a myriad of books and attending high priced seminars isn’t enough – unless you apply what you learn.

The Bible says for us not to be hearers of the word only but to be doers of the word. The secret is in the doing and the Bible also says that we will reap what we sow. There is also an old saying that goes along the lines of you get back what you put in, and this is true with positive thinking. You just can’t wish it into existence you have to sow good things into your brain on a consistent basis.

Positive affirmations repeated over and over again, every day can be a great way to sow good things into your brain. Eventually you will reap what you sow – therefore by putting in positive you will get out positive however this has to be done on a consistent basis.

Below I would like to share just one method of incorporating affirmations into your life on a consistent basis. I call this the getting dressed affirmations technique.

As you have your shower in the morning switch on your positive thinking and imagine as you are washing and you look down at the water running down the drain that all the negativity, problems, guilt or any other hindrance in your life is going down that drain as well. This is a new day as proclaimed in Psalm 118:24 – This is the day the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it.

Repeat that statement as it is a great affirmation. Today is a new day and all the stuff you don’t want is now down the drain. You are clean and fresh and ready to put on good things. You step out of the shower and continue to repeat the affirmation that this is the day the Lord has made and that you are going to rejoice and be glad in it. You might start whistling cheerfully or even singing as your mood lifts.

Now you get dressed and as you put on your underwear you think to yourself, if I have faith nothing shall be impossible to me. (Mt 17:20) If I have faith just the size of a mustard seed, all I need is just an itsy bitsy teeny weeny little amount of faith and everything will be made possible for me. As your underwear goes on realise that you have this faith.

Now as you put on your shirt and do up your buttons you remind yourself that you can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens you. This is found in Philippians 4:13 and really sow this into your being. Repeat what it says here – I can do… I have power and I have strength… I am able and I can be strong… Yes – I can do… I can do ALL things; I have the strength and the power to do everything today because Jesus Christ has given me that strength.

As you now put on your pants you remember the words of Jesus in John 10:10 when he said that he came to give you life and more abundantly. Remind yourself that you are alive, that you have a happy life and one full of vitality. Affirming the scriptures as you get dressed today you are putting on more then clothes and you are putting on spiritual things which will lead you into an abundant life today.

As you put on your shoes and socks you remember that you have your feet shod with the gospel of peace. The good news of peace, rest and true tranquility.

My favourite is while putting on my belt and imagine that I am doing up the belt buckle in slow motion while affirming if God be for me who can be against me. Were dressed and ready to go, imagine walking out that door in slow motion fully equipped with Gods great tools ready to have a great and wonderful day.

The affirmations while getting dressed technique is just a way to start doing rather then just wishing. It’s just one idea for maximising your time. You are sowing positive affirmations into your life while doing something else. Of course you can substitute other affirmations and scriptures then the ones above but I hope this article has inspired you to go past just knowing how to start doing what you know.
