Forgiveness is the most powerful weapon you have in the quest for happiness. If you can easily forgive then no one can really ver hurt you and take away from your joy. It is for your utmost benefit to be able to forgive.

Other meanings for the word forgive in the Bible concordance are:

To send away, to bid going away or depart, to send forth, yield up, to expire, to let go, let alone, let be, to disregard, to leave, not to discuss, to omit, to let go, give up a debt, forgive, to remit, to give up, keep no longer.

So here are some affirmations of forgiveness from all of those meanings:

I will forgive
I will not hold onto the pain and suffering any longer I will send it away
I bid this bitterness to depart
I will yield up my unforgiveness
It is time for this bitterness to expire
I will now let it go
I will not think on this problem any more as it is time to leave it alone
It is time to let it be
I will disregard what was done to me
I will no longer discuss the issue and leave it alone
I omit that trespass
I definitely now can let it go
I know it hurt but I now give up that debt
I will keep this no longer

God has forgiven all of our trespasses. I’m sure you can think of plenty of terrible things you have did in the past and wouldn’t it be horrible if God wouldn’t let go of those things and kept holding it against you. God has demonstrated how to truly love and how to have a real and genuine relationship. The key is in forgiveness.

Miracles mean different things for different people. I admit that when I think of miracles I think of healing, signs and wonders. I feel a little sad that when most people think of creating miracles with affirmations they for the most part think about money and financial gain. While it is nice to have money and when in a desperate situation being provided with money is a miracle there is way more to affirmations then just financial gain.

No greater miracle worker walked this planet then Jesus Christ.

There are many stories in the Bible where people followed him and asked him for healing and other miracles. There are many occasions where Jesus said to them, As you have believed so be it unto you. In so many of the miracles recorded the words believe and faith are mentioned.

There is a story of someone asking the Lord to increase their faith because they knew how important believing is. Jesus himself said that whatever we ask in prayer believing we shall receive. Believing comes first and it is so important if we want to see miracles in our life.

And so for me, this is where affirmations come in. Affirmations are a great tool for affirming, challenging and increasing our faith. Affirm that which is true into your life. If you think about it most of our life is spent listening to other opinions whether it be on the television, from newspapers or from family and work collegues.

However how many of those voices are affirming the word of God?

So in reality we are constantly listening and inadvertantly training our brains to be conditioned to worldly thinking. That is why it is so vitally important we set time apart every day to reprogram our minds to be spiritual by reading the word, praying to God and affirming his word into our life.

Creating miracles with affirmations is kind of like the centurion telling Jesus to speak the word only and my servant shall be healed. He recognized the power of the Lord’s spoken word. It is from Godly words and Godly affirmations that miracles can occur in our life’s being fully aware that true miracle power comes from above and not from ourselves. By being spiritual we are simple placing ourselves in a position whereby we are in tune with this wonder working power.

The affirmations process is an intriguing one with many believing it is just too easy to be true. However affirmations really do work if you are consistent in affirming the statements into your life. Think about the affirmations process as a way of rewriting a script. Say for example you are a screen writer for a popular television series and in one particular episode the end scene leaves everyone feeling sad, empty and down. As a screen writer all you have to do is change the script by writing a more positive ending to the show.

Of course in real life it doesn’t seem quite as easy as that however you are the screen writer of your life and you can change your script. Another way of thinking about the affirmations process is to consider it as a reprogramming of your mind. Your mind is like an amazing computer however just like a normal computer it can be corrupted with bad programming, or the software may not work because of programming glitches or the computer may get a virus.

The point is our minds, just like computers can suffer from these things however we tend to think that because it is our mind and not a literal computer that we can’t treat such things. When in fact the opposite is true – our brains can be reprogrammed just like a computer and can have all viruses or faulty functions removed or improved.

The affirmations process works by affirming what is actually true. This also is an important point – the affirmation must be true. You can not believe something that is too far-fetched and neither should you. Affirmations are not a way of escaping reality they are to help you face reality with confidence. We have about 25,000 to 50,000 thoughts per day and most of those thoughts run on auto-pilot. The problem for a great many people is that most of those thoughts are negative – and that is not reality. So affirmations used correctly can help in the adjustment back to reality.

The affirmations process works by us continually reading, hearing or saying affirmations until they become a part of our sub-conscious and literally become a part of who we are. It is not a 5 minute fix or an instant cure but rather a long term method of accepting reality for what it is without the negative unreal view of every situation.
